Of course Israel's retaliation is disproportionate, this is not in dispute. Whoever told you that a response to an unprovoked terror or military attack should be proportionate lied. And btw whether a law was violated is determined by courts, not by one guy's opinion.

I think they should lace the Lebanese water supply with viagra and drop Penthouse Magazines from planes. We need to work outside the box here.

Along those same lines, maybe someone can come up with an "Infidel in a Bottle" product and marketing campaign. A simple stick figure in a glass blown bottle would surely appease and impress 1.4 billion dolts.

If a Fatwa can be issued that each member could possess the bottle to satisfy the requirements of All*h, there would be instant peace.

Although I think that they would still require blood. Maybe it would be "Flea on an Infidel in a Bottle."

The sequence of events as I remember it <b>starts with the Gaza Beach Massacre</b> by the IDF somewhere around June 22nd followed by a call for revenge by Hamas militants who attacked an IDF outpost shortly after. After Hamas declared that the IDF's attack against civilians constituted the end of a cease-fire, everything else followed like collapsing dominos.

Thats a good idea! We could sell "My Little Infidel" and "Jihadist Joe" action figures. Instead of Kung Fu grips they could have Praying Palms. And oh yeah, A line of Infidel Lingerie so they could release their anxieties in the privacy of their own homes.

Let me refresh your memory then

1. it started in 2000 when Israel withdrew from Lebanon to the internationally recognized border thus meeting all its obligations under the international law and UN resolutions. Lebanon was obligated under the same international law to disarm and disband Hezbollah which it failed to do. For the last six years Hezbollah fighters have been lobbing Katyusha rockets into northern Israel. Several weeks ago Hezbollah fighters crossed Israeli border and abducted israeli citizens. Please keep in mind that Hezbollah is part of the Lebanese government so those were clear acts of war.

2. One year ago Israel completely withdrew from Gaza leaving no soldier or settler behind. Palestinians reciprocated by electing Hamas. Since Israeli withdrawal Hamas used "liberated" Gaza areas to launch Qassam rocket attacks against Israeli towns. Several weeks ago Hamas fighters crossed Israeli border and abducted israeli citizens. Please keep in mind that Hamas is the government so so those were clear acts of war.
