Tws or Esignal to Excel spreadsheet

Hello ,
Is it possible to have quotes off of Esignal or IB TWS , programmed into excel spreadsheet . This would seem alot easier than hitting the "refresh botton" to download new prices into excel from a web site , like for example yahoo, which I use currently . thank you for any suggestions and feedback , Phil
