Turbotax Business - Free!

Quote from DarthSidious:

No, it's not a scam. I do not post crappy stuff. Intuit actually gave the full version of TurboTax Business away last year, of which I took advantage of. No charge - it was free. They are doing it again this year, but slight crippleware (as I have mentioned in my first post).

Intuit figures:
a) If it's your first time using TT Biz, they gain a new customer, and next year you will buy full version to transfer 2009 information to 2010
b) You still get charged $50 for doing your state return & efile)
ok no problem. thanks.

Costco has historically had a discount coupon for a couple of weeks (personal versions) where the discounted price is about $39, including a State filing.... haven't seen it yet this year.

Please do not be confused between TTax for personal tax vs. TTax for Business returns. This deal is for Business returns only!

Doubt I'm confused about anything. Just making a point about "free tax software" (usually with some sort of string attached.. if not this year, for upgrades), and low cost software without strings.

turbo tax is a shitty software anyway. i would not install it on any of my PC's. it's extremely slow, installs all kind of shit on your computer and constantly goes online for no reason. hard to remove it completely. few years ago they even install spy ware on your PC. tax cut is way to go for DIY'rs. simple, easy to use, clean and quick install\uninstall.
if you really eager to try it-try on some separate PC that you using for testing.
come back with results.
i did tried personal for 2008-what a load of crap
