Typing in search terms into a chatgpt window does not qualify as "using ai". The majority of folks don't have and will not have sufficient skills to stay relevant when ai is fully utilized. Hence I don't see any argument that currently is made in favor of a majority from being safe of being taken over or being replaced by ai.
Car/rv dealers, admin folks at colleges, city halls, law practices, any workers employed to perform menial work, content creators, cgi artists, low level boiler plate coders, web designers, car manufacturing plant workers, and hundreds of other sector workers are on the chopping block. No way around it. Guaranteed basic income is gonna come, whether we like it or not. That is the only way to prevent a revolution that will harm the top 5% the most.
