There is a public domain trading system (released in the early 2000s) that compares the hourly rate of change NYSE Advancing Issues to generate trades on the S&P 500*. Can this be programmed in Pine Editor on Trading view?
*as an example, on Tradestation, the buy and sell signals would appear on an hourly chart of the S&P 500, but the easy language code would generate signals from comparing the hourly ROC on the NYSE Advancing issues.
