Good post! However, in my personal limited opinion, I believe there's not just one way of gaining this "moment-um", so to speak, of good mood, energies, feelings, or whatever name a person would prefer to call it (just like there are many names of God, yet He is one). Many times, I would be feeling really depressed, and the root cause of it would be the issues from the past (and many times, issues in the present). It is good to take a good look at your past - your relations to different people, your words, your actions, even your thoughts, which are the root of most of our feelings, words and actions. It could be many years from now, a year, or even yesterday. Sense if there is anything lurking in that past that is bothering you. It could be something hurtful you said to someone, something you did, or even something hurtful you thought about someone, or even some "thing". All life is precious, since God caused it to exist, and judging any thing or any one is really futile, because if you really think about it, not a single one of us humans is perfect in our ways. If you find that in there, that some "thing" that could be bothering you, ask God for forgiveness. Really. It might sound old, but as adults we all should know that "there is nothing new under the sun", as Solomon put it in his words almost 3000 years ago, and I believe he put it best. In 2000 years, even 5000, or 10000, or whatever you prefer to believe, and we're all just guessing - "stabbing with our minds in the dark unknown", as the saying goes, the state of affairs of life has not changed one iota in all these thousands or millions of years. We here, for example, are still traders, just as our ancestors were traders of commodities or made goods, thousands of years ago. They boarded their goods on ships, to sail to far away lands, not knowing whether the weather will get them through. All they went on is faith and hope in God. Yet we are here now, online, on the inter-net, and we think the same thoughts, the same feelings, and even commit the same mistakes, that our ancestors of old had done. Isn't that an interesting perspective to behold? Yet, in these thousands of years, man still doesn't know where he comes from, or where he goes to when he dies. Yet we all have one thing in common - hope. Hope and faith. Because without it, really, life is meaningless, as we all know one day we will meet our end on this material earth. Worse yet, for some of us, it is not us, but the idea that our loved ones would one day leave us, or us leaving them, is the worst thought and feeling to come to grips with. I am 26 years old and though I haven't lived much, I've learned much, some from direct experience, some from the experiences of others. My close friend recently passed away, shot. For some he was the best friend, for others he was the worst enemy. For me, he was like a brother. My parents are stepping over 65, and I pray to the Lord that he grants them a long life, at least enough to see my children, and then see my children hit 13, and then an old, old age, 120, and even more, God willing. Yes, I pray for that.

Wisdom is a lonely feeling. There's the good and the bad. All of us come to know both in life. Yet, we constantly strive to get away from the bad, towards the good. Ask God for forgiveness. To do that with sincerety, you have to realize that not one of us is perfect, or without a fault, yet most of us have committed too many mistakes and have too many a fault, even though we might not be aware of it, yet. Not one of us is going to live forever here on earth. Hope and faith in our Lord is all we have to get on to live happily 'til tomorrow. So better yet, find those you hurt, or even think you hurt, and no matter how hard it might feel to do, do it. Ask them 4 forgiveness. But for now, just say to yourself, with sincerity, with your heart, mind and thoughts as One... "Lord, forgive me, please". And let the happy tears flow.
Wish you all, all the best, and all the good. "There's nothing new under the sun." Believe.
