WOW! I wonder what happened. Is everyone with Tradovate now?

While we can't comment on the costs related to CQG at other firms, we can say that Tradovate does not charge additional order routing fees and what our customers pay on transactions above exchange and NFA fees is a $0.09 per contract clearing fee, since we are not a clearing firm. We have our own proprietary platform and don't charge extra for that either, so it is simply a different experience than what you may find with many other futures brokers.

CBC, we certainly appreciate your questions and comments and would like for you to be able to try Tradovate for yourself, so we would like to offer you a free month where you can trade on the platform in live or sim as much as you want. ES, thank you for your very friendly words. What I share here I share because it is fun, it feels good to share with certain people, people that are on the same rocky path that others like me have walked before.
What I have to offer here are no great secrets or holy grails or perfect setups. These things do not exist. What I can help with is the basics regarding infrastructure, the tools and starting points that a new trader needs if he wants to start his very own adventure into shortterm trading. But how he will make money and how much... this everybody has to discover on his own. You HAVE TO make your experience in the market. Just like nobody could go and do the sparring for Mike Tyson. Just like Michael Schumacher had to drive lap after lap... after lap. We all have to put in the hard work, blood, sweat and tears to one day harvest the sweet fruits. No shortcuts. I know what I am talking about here. I was knocked down to the floor many times. The important thing is to get up again... and continue going your way.
