TradeStation illogical / buggy

The broker TradeStation has an online web chat function at their website.
Before it starts it aske for name, email and phone number.
I filled all fields, but then got the following error:
it accepts only a 10-digit phone number. But my number has 13 digits. It does not accept it! So what?
It really must be programmed by some total idiots @ work!

Will now see if one instead can ask them also via email...
...BUT: there is no email contact listed on their Contacts page, only phone and such web chat is listed...

Just remove the first 3 digits

13 - 3 = 10

If it doesn't work, remove Tradestation

My experience with Trade Station customer service
has always been exceptional. Not sure why you
post a complaint, BEFORE you have exhausted
all resources for customer service contact.

I hope you don't trade the same way.

You are getting off-topic.
I attempted to contact them but experienced the said problems; so far a contact was not possible,
and I'm definitely not going to make some long distance phone calls from Europe to them in the US...
What is your opinion on the above reportted bug at their website?

I many times made use of it.
But how would a workaround look like in this case?
As said, there is no email contact, and phoning is no altervative b/c too expensive from Europe to US.
I question their mindset, that they can't think of these problems when offering services for international clients... Shortsighted idiots, IMO.

My question to them was whether Call and Put Spread trading (Level 3) is possible with their Cash Acct (ie. to answer the question raised in the other thread). A very competent person at the TradeStation help desk has answered my question:

Level 3 – Call and put spreads (requires $2,000), along with level 2+
Spread options available for index options only (i.e. SPXW)

Ie. in Cash Acct with Level 3 one can trade Call and Put Spreads (and other such spreads)
only for tickers that have European style exercise and are Cash Settled, ie. all index options only (SPX, XSP etc.), but unfortunately not stock options nor ETF options.

But since I'm trading mainly stock and ETF options only (ie. no index options), I'll stick with what is possible in Cash Acct with Level 2, ie. excluding the desired Call and Put spreads from my arsenal of strategy tools. I'm not interested in Margin Acct .

My motto: If my strategy is good then it has to work also in just a CashAcct. One can find some workaround constructs (synthetics etc.) giving a similar PnL diagram. In above case for example by adding a LongPut to CoveredCall (CC)l or CashSecuredPut (CSP) gives a similar result like Call Spread and Put Spread. By this, both bullish and bearish constructs are possible, depending on whether the LongPut.Strike is above or below the Short.Strike.
