I love this guy!

Not in a gay sense.
He speaks several languages, he didn't intend to hate or insult. It was a closed doors meeting, with a snitch bishop in there.

And it's a fact that priesthood has a high pedofile percentage problem already, old priest men preying on young men.

The two are not linked, but any sexual diversity away from chastity should not be accepted by the church.

A heterosexual pervert, like a priest who hits on nuns or women followers, should be forbidden too.

He should have used the term "perversion" and there would be no news, even with the snitch in the meeting.

I already had the impression he's less sharp than he used to be. Not so strange given his age. Although (and I'm absolutely not the person well informed enough to judge) it might be that his convictions have been colored a bit by the convervative hotspot that the Papacy most assuredly is.
