the perils of online trading , help!

went long DIA tuesday @84.24 , put in a GTC sell stop @83.69
DIA closed @83.16 . Should have been stopped out , but my account shows me still being long the shares . The GTC sell stop dissappeared on the TWS making me think the trade was executed and would have taken me completely out of the position . My acct statement showed me buying the shares but not selling any of them .I've called twice and have been waiting all day for them to confirm my position , keep telling me they will get back to me . What are you supposed to do in this situation ? Not sure if I'm still long the shares or not .

You are probably long still. Luckily we are having a mini rally so you might turn out ok. :) Use the chat, its pretty fast to find your position.
 
did the chat thing yesterday , said they would e-mail me back , after looking into it , still waiting for a response
 
The odds are MUCH higher that your stop failed than their system not recording a transaction. I would put another stop in, or sell them if it shows as a current position.
