Well today I opened my account with scottrade, and have no idea what I'm doing lol. I could not help myself, I was curious of getting an inside look at the markets, and while I have to re-fresh the page to get up to date info, I dont mind, its just real exciting.
I'm just watching right now, I dont entend to trade until I get a job, can better understand candle charts, and all these numbers.
Here were my holdings when i was paper trading:
aapl 84.31 / 84.71 up .47
bsx 23.76 / 23.90 up .59
low 65.25 / 65.33 up .12
mcd 34.75 / 34.59 down .46
wmt 44.83 / 44.95 up .27
because this is an online simulation, all info is delayed 15 minutes. But out of 5 stocks, only one is down... not bad..
i'm up 3,827.40 profit ... now if I could only figure out when to sell....
