EWZ had dividends of $91, IB paid me $61. (post tax), What is the current tax rate for US and UK residents on dividends. For EWZ I was charged over 30%. whats best way to minimise?

I actually think it's quite interesting they pay it post tax, I have never had that with my dividend pay outs

foreigners tax withholding, you can fill out a w8ben to claim it back, at least from the broker but not exempt from the g man. unless your home country has a tax treaty with the us.
