Is there any way to easily synchronise two computers (laptop & desktop) running on XP pro? I'm looking to keep chart, file settings etc synchronised and up to date on the 2 machines.

Yes. You can use a program like Allway Synch to synchronize folders between... either directly over a USB cable or first synch to a flash drive, then to the other computer.
I don't know of a way to "automatically" synchronize... just periodically (once per day?), manually "synchronize".
I tried it and had problems... don't recall exactly what they were, but I abandoned for something other. Allway Synch works perfectly and is also free.
