As far as I know, no. Any auto-liquidation of positions is determined by IB via their proprietary algorithms based on your equity level and the potential risk of your position (calculated by their proprietary formula). So if they deem your position to be too "risky" based on their calculation, your position maybe fully auto-liquidated or partially auto-liquidated even though your position is profitable. Their formula does NOT take into account the profitability of the position.
The agent told me when inquiring about margin that they calculate based on portfolio margin not just single position.
