But a Close-Position is a new order. It cancels existing exit orders. i.e. it is a replacement.So while not ideal the routine would be to use a trigger where the exiting order with the wrong quantity would execute and replace it with a "close position" order.
Which points out why I do not use TWS "Close-Position" anymore, it is clunky! Unless you are doing it via code, it turns into a workaround, and if you are using code, why bother right?
