Looks like he's basically throwing a few coins at it (pun not intended) to see which pigeon turns thinking it's food for its belly...
I wonder whether Dalio et al have done/are doing the same when they say China is to be invested in... perhaps they need to unload their positions but need follies to pile in to provide a better exit..

I guess that the situation with China's securities, given the global events, the past and the future, is a too-deep of a rabbit hole, for us simple retailers to navigate. Still waiting for my positions in there to recover. Could sell at the loss, but ,,principles''.
As for Dalio, i don't know.
Lots have happened for him as for a human being.
He got a cancer, managed to survive.
Then he lost a son.
Somewhere in between tried to delegate a person to take over Bridge Waters, unsuccessfully, had to come back.
I think he's trying to do good, even now, maybe more than ever, yet despite of all success and wisdom accumulated over the years, he might be still wrong in many areas, ,,you know''.
