SIPC Protection. $250k for trading account & $250k for IRA? Or $125k for both?

If you keep a trading account and an IRA account at the same broker, is the max protection $250,000 between both accounts? -OR- Is it $250,000 for the trading account & $250,000 for the IRA account?
