Why short? Because it's 1/2 of the playing field. Anyone who's a serious trader that doesn't play BOTH sides of the market severely limits themself in terms of what they can make. Do you think Tiger Woods goes out onto the golf course carrying just 1/2 of the clubs allowed?

Difference is Tiger Woods controls and is the master of his own golf destiny. In this bullshit market the crooks with lots of money are the masters and the little day traders are their slaves who follow them around and earn peanuts.

But many traders confine themselves to only Naz or NYSE stocks, doesn't that effectively wipe out 1/2 the universe as well?
