I disagree with you 100%. I live in the USA, where are you from?

In the USA, my country, it does not matter what religion you are, if you are poor, you will SUFFER the greatest pain you ever felt in your life. Because your kids will be poor and you will be poor and miserable everyday of your life with no money.

And religion will not save you from being poor.

I know MANY people who believe deeply in religion and still very poor and suffer in pain.

Actually, the study I was referring to is from a US population. To make a long story short, these data suggest that religious service attendance is associated with a lower risk of death from despair among health care professionals and, possibly, in other segments of the population. A guess what really helps? Singing!
