Sharing internet connection

Anyone knows if I could have Zone Alarm (freeware version) installed behind the Lynksys router (or other routers). I wonder if there are any conflicts between ZA and the hardware firewall in the router.

TIA

Cheers!! :)
you can use both. i have a linksys router and i have used zone alarm before, in conjunction.

Would any of the guys using the linksys routers happen to use ib as their broker?

I'm planning to move to ib, but noticed that the demo doesnt run behind my analogx proxy server. Which makes me want to find out if ib's platform works behind a router (and if the firewall on the linksys has to be turned off or not) for the platform to work.

By the way, how has ib's performance been lately?

thanks.

i have a linksys router and have no problems using ib with absolutely no changes to the default router settings.

Thanks GG,

Is GREED really good?

Anyways, that's good to hear... I've noticed however, that a lot of complaints have come over the forums about IB's downtime lately. Any thoughts?

Does this affect all accounts, or just stocks, just futures? How has your experience been lately?

Thanks again.
