Hi All,
FWIW, I bought a Chinese portable monitor. It has been a dozen years since I last had one, so I figured it was time to try again. Here are some notes:
1) USB-c power and signal all in one, so single cable. No power brick.
2) 2K seems to be the sweet spot for price.
3) This is NOT a color precise, nor zero light bleed monitor. Good for trading.
4) Very sleek and portable.
5) The 120Hz seems good for movies and the HDR is OK.
I got the U-Perfect:
UPERFECT 2K 120Hz Portable Gaming Monitor, 16" 2560x1600 QHD Portable Monitor 500 Nits HDR
Price: $169 + tax at Amazon
UPerfect have a lot of offerings including 17" and 4K and touch and portraits, but prices vary a lot. I figured at $169, it was worth a try. I am getting another for "position-order monitoring". When developing, I will use one for the data, one for the code, and one for the debugger.
Cheers and good trading.
PS: No affiliation with Amazon nor Uperfect, of course!
