The Oxford Covid-19 trial scientists accidentally discovered how to increase the effectiveness of their vaccine, by wrongly half dosing some of their trial subjects.

Full dose twice >>> 62% effective
Half dose+full dose >>> 90% effective

 
How did they arrive at the 70 percent figure? The same way trading system sellers arrive at their averages and both are equally trustworthy.

Not that simple. Those in the group that received the smallest dose first were on average younger, and the sample size of the group was smaller.
