schonfeld fees and short list

Any Current / past schonfeld traders know how extensive their short list is ?

Software/data fees ?

Also, do they self clear...?


Appreciate any help....

I know I should call.... but I got this sudden urge
to know the answers to these questions at
1:00 AM in the morning...

Well I now have the answers to my late night questions for anyone else who may have been interested ......

They self clear but I dont know how extensive their short list is compared to IB....


And they only charge commission, no data-software fees.

u need 50K minimum to open an account there.

50 k is ok as long as I dont have trouble shorting when needed.

I would contact them on their do not short list. They are in full complaince with the SEC rules, which means they have a good sized list. Check out my thread on this topic:

So what your saying is the list of stocks that you are not allowed to short drops to 4200 by 9:30 am.

So the question is..how many stocks are in the Nyse and nasd amex...

that would be the short list...

I think alot of those stocks are obsolete and they never took it off. I would contact them directly over their lists.
