At least one of them got caught and is being extradited to the USA to face charges. None of the four Chinese hackers that broke into Equifax and stole the private information of 145 million US citizens were ever caught let alone faced any charges in the USA. https://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/chinese-hackers-charged-in-equifax-breach-021020
