So I thought it might be worth presenting a bit of evidence from an earlier 20-year stretch. Hereâs real federal revenue, in 2005 dollars, from 1970 to 1990. Iâve plotted the log, because itâs easier to look at trends:

Tax cuts produced less revenue along an increasing but lower trendline, or in other words, tax cuts don't pay for themselves; there is lost revenue.
Look at that graph taxes are cut... revenues still go up within what 18 months. And there was a recession at the time.
My point exactly.
The graph proves the problem is crazy spending.

Yeah I don't get it either. Reagan oversaw the increasing of the national debt as well so he's a failure as far as I'm concerned. Its even more depressing that the only choice for leadership in this country is between two parties that don't know jack shit about balancing a budget. Reagan was just another lobbyist's cum dumpster like every other politician, nothing special.
So a guy calls you a moron, and you have no choice but to call him a moron back?
