I enjoyed the discussion about Ron Paul's GOP debate comment about 9/11 and the reasons for terrorism against the US with Roland Martin, Thom Hartmann and Ben Ferguson. However, Ben Ferguson clearly showed himself to be a mouth-breathing, uneducated, obnoxious moron by the following obviously false statements:
1) that we were not doing "jack squat" around the world at the time of the USS Cole bombing and first world trade center bombing. We have been screwing around in the Middle East for the last 100 years and arming Israel which is persecuting both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians from before 1948.
2) that the Islamists hate us because they are crazy or because we have a decent lifestyle.
3) stating that Ron Paul was trying to make a name for himself by stating the truth at the GOP debate. The truth is that the establishment/leadership of both parties have substantially the same position on all issues. We have no choice at all, except between brand A neocon big-government one-world clown and Brand B of the same ilk. Just how different are Guiliani and Hillary or Obama's positions on anything? Ron Paul represents a real choice and the treasonous leadership of both parties would do anything possible to prevent him from becoming the nominee, regardless of what the people want.
The other two commentators and Paula seemed reasonable.
Finally, I do not appreciate having anyone on the air spouting patently obvious falsehoods even for the purposes of debate. If you can, please find someone else to debate from the administration or warmongering neocon chickenhawk point of view. Perhaps that clown should join the infantry in Iraq instead.
