they have to be financed, do they not? regardless, the ones that finance the wars have the most to gain. when you control the world's media.... you can lie to start the wars you call senseless. i would use stronger terms than "senseless" to describe these wars.
they'd lie to you regardless... nothing to do with fiat money

i don't read rothbard, i'm just a pedestrian observer forming my own conclusions, and i'm glad we're friends - it's not personal

it will be interesting to look back on these posts in a few years time after the system has run a likely historical course. would be preferable to avert that outcome entirely

at least we agree that governments engage in unsustainable spending on the back of causes like perpetual war. fiat inflation though, is taxation without representation. there is virtually no leader we can elect who will respect that.
mate, there is no "fiat inflation", you & i have already discussed that one to death... central banks have a job to to do and keeping inflation in check is one of them... voting to suppress them is not a smart move

Simple math proves you otherwise, but hey, keep trying to figure out why the Dollar is falling through and prices of goods are rising 10-15%, right in line with money supply.

myopia, maybe. or bias, just not sure.

it would help if you were an american, with interests tied more directly to the success of our communities and society.

having grown up here, this being my home, it's more difficult to accept the changes taking place than if i were a distant profiteer. no aggression intended, just a candid pov
