It used to be that Retail Traders could not trade in a trading desk with Proprietary Traders (licensed), when the LLC's have people trading in a room where there are Proprietary traders do they get spllit in different groups ?

I have visited some Andvoer offices an when the ask if you have the 7 and all the 65 license i suppose these are proprietary right, but they also give you the option of trading Retail.

That's why i ask it's confusing me a little since i know that many of the people trading at the sub LLC don't have licenses at least that's the impression i get from speaking to some office managers.
