Ray Mentzer: "My training program"

Sounds like you maybe way out of your depth (as is FF) on this topic. But by all means, you do what your level of knowledge and experience tells you to do.

My experience is based on having weight trained for 50 years, this is my 50th year.

My knowledge developed my strength to an 1,100 powerlifting total at 148# in my teens.

So, yes I'm quite comfortable here. A lot of names mentioned here have been contemporaries in a quite a few gyms over the years.

Bad training methods are also a hindrance. A person with bad Genetics should be avoiding HIT too.

Like get rich quick Trading schools appeal to the gulible, get jacked in 15 minute a day gurus appeal to the gulible too.

Like DTB2, I've probably worked out longer than you've been alive, most of it on higher volume. Debate is fine, and I'm open to it. But you entered the thread kicking and spitting. And for that I offer the usual refreshment.

Well your posting doesn't show it.
