Question: Would I still be able to open an account after emerging from a bankruptcy?

Hello everyone, I have a question here. I may need to file of Chapter 7 bankruptcy to restructure my financial situation. (Need to get rid of a dischargeable judgement.)

My question is, will having a bankruptcy record affect me opening an retail brokerage account at firms like IB or ThinkOrSwim, etc?

Any input and comment is much appreciated. :)
