Question for European Traders on Internet Access

Why do people think a 2 mbit line gives faster execution than a 512 kb line?

What would be better, 2 mbit with ping 238 ms or 512 kb and 60 ms ping time? :confused:

I would choose 60 ms anytime... :p

You do not need that much bandwith for trading, provided you do not follow more than 200-500 stocks intraday IMO
 
I'm Dutch living near Monaco in France. I have a 1Mb ADSL for 35€/month (well, actually I have 2 just 1 for backup purposes). I think my ISP , wanadoo, is also active in Spain.
