Pronouncating Pairs

Does anyone know how you pronounce the following pairs? I'm new to FX and I only picked up a couple proper names for the currency pairs like EURGBP is called "cable".

Can someone please tell me what's the proper name for:
EURUSD
USDJPY
GBPUSD
USDCAD
EURJPY
EURGBP
AUDUSD
NZDUSD

Be very careful when you quote currencies. For example, "Cable" refers to the GBPUSD pair. In other words, if you ask me to quote you Cable, I would give it to you against the dollar. If you wanted Pounds against Euro you would have to make sure the dealer knew this. Similarly, if you ask for Euro, Yen, Canada, Aussie$, Kiwi$ quotes they would be against the USD unless you ask otherwise. Also, I find that you want to avoid referring to Cable as "Sterling" since some brokers might confuse with Short Sterling interest rate contracts.
 
Cable is ALWAYS GBP-USD... Not just sterling. Apparently it was originally traded via some cable along the ocean bed, hence the name (note: that may be BS)
