product restrictions to china residents ?

Hi

I just had a chat on a different matter with an IB rep and when asked about the above he said there are no restrictions, chinese residents can trade all products.
But i think he added "like HK residents" so that makes me suspicious.
What about CFDs ? Anyone in China trading those or international derivatives, do you encounter any issues with your broker ?
