LOL. I'm not going to lie. The post by the Krakenite, and also by M.W., scared the hell out of me. Thinking back on it, I remember in the 2000 tech collapse I was thinking how wow, these tech stocks are soooo far off their high, can't go wrong dollar cost averaging in and buying more!!! Boy was I wrong. So I'm holding off on the REITs based on Krakenite's and MW's scary posts.

OK guys, is there NOTHING that you would be buying here? The name of the game is just to hold cash? I know you would "trade", but put that aside. No assets you would accumulate here if you didn't know how to trade but had many thousands of spare cash?

I be brutally honest, I did some DD in the markets and found nothing even remotely interesting rn. But I guess that is dependent on your strategy.

I like the brutal honesty GotherL! Damn, sounds like everything goes down with a sinking ship, and maybe I should just sit on my cash and try and ride this out for some time.
What's the downside if you do that.
Market turns around and you have lost a great buying opportunity would be the biggest one by far (if that happened).

I never worry about missing the bottom or getting out at the top. I want a little chunk out of the middle.
