Unfortunately black people have been told for so long, (multiple generations), that they are incapable of helping themselves so they are now conditioned to wait on a savior. Obama can't help them, even if he cared too.
The inner cities are now vast waste lands of people who have been discarded except as a campaign issue. There is little hope for them. They are pawns, very expendable pawns, in the political game. Frankly, it's incomprehensible what the radical left has done to these people. The Khmer Rouge was more merciful. This is a long, slow, and torturous death for inner city blacks, mostly at their own hand. And the dem party couldn't be happier with the never ending campaign issue to be had as a result.
