NYSE trade through

if my trading platform didnt have a specified cent limit for ECN orders, i would have mistakenly hit bids/offers that were $1 out of the market plenty of times.

i hate those scum bags who purposely trail their ECN orders about $1 in front/behind the NYSE bid/ask so that ppl will accidentally hit them in case there is a quick reversal.
 
although this case was a mental error, I have gotten out of market fills through the specialist, they make errors too...

I had a market sell on a fairly thick stock it was trading just above 67.00 and i was filled at 66.00

i got the trade corrected to 67, saved 1000 bucks.
shit happens... i guess
