Nicotine sucks

I've been trying to catch another vice as alternative for caffeine and alcohol.

Marijuana is illegal in Romania but I did try in in Netherlands some 10 years ago. The conclusion is inconclusive, I didn't have enough time to sample it but I would give this description: "One cigarette makes you feel about the same as two sixpacks of beer. Absolutely wasted that is but super strangely, without the awful withdrawal effects of alcohol. With beer you'd have suffered like a dog for a day or two before clearing it out, with marijuana though, after 3-4 hours you feel it starting to dissipate and after another two hours you're like it never happened. Unbelievable from an only-alcohol-legal standpoint of view.

So I tried nicotine, that is cigarettes. You can read the re-enforced and repeated meme anywhere that it's like the most addicting thing in the world. Well they might not have sampled =~ 50 years olds who only knew coffee and alcohol for legal drugs.

Nicotine makes me nauseous almost instantly, like marijuana does instantly (but then it offers a reward for that) or alcohol does after some 5-10 minutes of ingestion. But without the pleasurable effects of alcohol. As far as I sampled it, it sucks balls. You can have it people, I'm not interested.

What I'm interested in is making marijuana legal across EU. That would be something I could use.

I doubt you'll go to jail in Europe for any quantity that you may possess as a personal stash. If you really want to smoke weed, find a friend that smokes and slip him $100. You'll have all you need for a while, legalities be damned. Don't sweat something that will never happen.

But regarding your addictions to alcohol... weed is not going to cure that. It won't. There's neuro-transmitters in the brain that that dictate what you do or do not crave. And whoever said one cigarette is equivalent to two six packs of beer lol... has done neither. It doesn't even make sense. It's like comparing apples to.... (I don't even know what to insert here) ... spare tires.... because that statement is so far out there it barely deserves a comment other than to the effect of how far out of left field it resides..

Use the strongest black tea you can find. And sip on it all day. But if you are in the habit of consuming alcohol during the day, even that may not help. Caffeine is good, despite what you have read. Alcohol... not so much.

Keep the caffeine, and loose the alcohol.
