News services via IB ?

Any suggestions for a news service that IB offers, either for free, or monthly charge?

I am looking for mostly timely macro economic news, as I mostly trade futures, EFTs, rarely individual stocks, although sometimes major corp events / earnings will impact the entire market.

"Timely" refers to U.S. & foreign reports, press conferences, etc.

CNBC is always 1 - 3 minutes behind, & poor coverage as well.

Dow Jones ?
Bloomberg?

For many years I used the audio service from Trade The News (TNN) but hard to justify the current I think $350 monthly fee (pretty much 24/5 days) for that, especially since I do not use all the individual stock info.

You can get Reuters News feed for $110 monthly on Reuters Xenith package, see Metastock https://www.metastock.com/products/realtime/xenith/?features
1) I'm looking for ratings news (credit ratings, price target change and upgrades/downgrades), does reuters news feed cover this type of news?
2) Are their news only from reuters sources or they include news from other sources (like MTnewswire, globenewswire,PR, benzinga, dowjones, CFRA...etc) ?

Dow Jones news is avaialble from esignal from $155 a month on a yearly contract.
I've tried about 6 different FREE news services via IB. "Hot News,"
"Economic News,"
"Company News"
Reuters Headlines
Dow Jones

Basically, the above coverage is good.

HOWEVER, in the approx 5 days I've used above, the various pages are NOT working, more than 50% of the time.

Incredible that IB is unable to maintain these services.

I will go with a separate, probably browser, rather than audio real-time news service.

Do you mean very slow to update (minutes) or not updating al all?

Not updating at all. When updating, they are fast, & I would be satisfied to use for macro trading -- i.e., I mostly trade SP futures & options, rarely individual stocks. But based on a week, it is not dependable.
