Really!!!hey vanzandt...nice selection...i know the owner..i was in wine industry for 20 yrs...Hamish created Angus the bull whilst working for McPherson wines...he struck a deal with Mitchelton wines to grow the grapes that supply the wine...i can tell you many stories of wine in aussie as i worked for the top 2 out of 3 and then some more..was the second person in USA to bottle KeyKeg too !...hope you are well mate..Oh and that is a very good price...i used to be site ops manager for Hardys and Fosters before GM Ozpak...good memories mate ...and i like my wine as you do![]()
You left out a big one... the soil. They say that about the finest French Champagnes.a wine maker who one global awards said to me once...John...you cant make great wine out of average grapes...tru dat....there are shiraz in Aust that willl blow your socks off but arnt maintstream for sale...there are pinots in NZ that will leave you speechless...wine finality depends on grapes, rainfall, conditions, winemaker, watering system, thus concentration...only a winemaker can fuck up natures process...true dat too...But whadda i know.
