New Elite Trader website layout is not as good as old ET

I think this news feed feature should be brought to the attention of everyone, as I think it would create more dialogue (relevant content) between similar minded users...

one last thing, and I promise not to bother the rest of the year, is it possible to make the new posts page twice as long? (yeah I am too lazy to click on the 2nd pg so only look at the first page...if I don't see anything interesting, I surf away, as I consider second page posts too old...)
1) The news feed will be a part of the new ET homepage, to be revealed very soon.

2) Sorry. That's not gonna happen so get off your lazy ass and click on page 2. :D

Thanks for fixing the mobile layout. I used to have to switch to landscape to see the bar at the top with Inbox and everything, but looks like it's all good now.

1.- You are very welcome Baron. It's comforting to see my ideas put to good use....

2.- Don't disagree, although, some forms of laziness, could be considered virtues....

..viewed in newspaper terms, if its not front page....

Yes thanks, whatever you changed resolved the issue I was having on my iPhone as well.

Baron, thanks for putting the page navigation back at the top of the pages.
One of the little things I don't particularly like is the time stamps.
Instead of "yesterday", "Monday", "Tuesday", etc., I like just the date/time style.
No biggie; just a personal preference.

Interesting. The main reason why we implemented a date format like that is because it more closely resembles how you would normally communicate with another person. If it's currently Monday and you were describing to someone what happened a couple days ago, you would talk about what happened this past "Saturday" instead of saying what happened on "October 11th, 2014".

I think you are right here in terms of the natural way of communicating. If you gave a date for yesterday or the day before, I'd have to first reference today's date to place it. Habit maybe, I've the date on my watch so I don't bother remembering it.

Having never been one to embrace change, just for the sake of change.
I have to admit. Now that I've gotten used to the new layout. I like it.

Ok, I think this thread has run it's course given the title. I'm going to close this so future comments and questions can be posted via new threads.
