How many of you out there have heard of this contract and what do you think of it?

I've heard Ethanol Plants are interested because it is less region specific than Chicago's corn contract.
 
I've heard of it, but only because I read your post about the MGEX seat lease for 30$, and then went to the MGEX website and looked around.

I was surprised, it looks like it has some open interest and even has a few trades per day . . .

I wish MGEX the best, but to go against CBOTs corn and mini corn contracts, well that is tough.
 
Thanks for the info, I have been flipping corn futures now.
Keep an eye on the new movies coming out, POPCORN demand is always a leading indicator.
