My ET "Home" page is stuck on the same page from weeks ago?

I know. Should of said something before this. When I go to the
"home" page of ET it is the same page from quite awhile ago. I
have been getting around this fact by going to Forums.

Anyone know how to fix this?


P.S. I wasn't too sure which forum to put this in... :p
 
Strange that it wouldn't have been refreshed by now...

But clearing the IE temporary "cache" should do it. Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files.

If you tried this already and it doesn't work, you could have some spyware crap jacking your system.

It's funny you mention spyware. This started when I started using
a new spyware blocker. I can disable all the spyware and startup
ET's homepage and a cookie called "Bluestreak" shows up. Just this
one cookie. I assume ET puts this cookie on my computer...

Clearing the temp files does not help...

And the ET homepage is the only page that is doing this!... :(
 
Bluestreak is ad-ware company, run spy doctor from download.com daily until it doesn't show up any more, not sure if it has anything to do with your page get stuck tho.

Thanks for the reply nkhoi. I agree Bluestreak probably doesn't
have anything to do with the page getting stuck. I think Bluestreak
just shows up when I go to the home page. I had this happen
once before a few years ago but can not remember what I did to
solve the problem... :(
