Never knew that ChatGPT was developed with help from Elon Musk so the Artificial Intelligence that we see from ChatGPT is from Musk's Intelligence? Hmmmnnn...
Second, does Musk know that OpenAI is backed by Microsoft? If he does, he should know that OpenAI wouldn't be open source or non-profit for long. Very soon, it would be close source aka proprietary and for-profit whenever Microsoft is involved. I mean it's one of its investors. You think Microsoft is going to just walk away from making money from something into which it's poured billions and in this case we don't even know how much $$?
Musk is extremely intelligent but sometimes I find he is very naive especially when it comes to business dealings and he really takes things that people tell him at face value and actually believes them.

OpenAI didn't come out of Musk's head. It came out of his wallet. He financed it. And when he did, he (and his lawyers, presumably) wrote up a long list of no-no's, which OpenAI reneged on when it got into bed with Microsoft.
Whether OpenAI is beneficial for humanity or not, I just hope they don't dumb it down with more woke-inspired bullshit. I can't even ask about sex without first being lectured on how offensive such question is on others. Others? WTF?? It's just me and you, dumbass, behind a closed door in my own room.
