Anyone know if I can do this: install a second TWS with a different server. I'm in US and trade during the day, but want to trade HK without getting kicked off the servers at 11:00 or so when they automatically shut down.
To do that you need to have two accounts. Then send a mail to the help desk (attn: coriss) and request for account X to be placed on the HK server. With the same tax ID, you'll be able to xfer funds between accounts as well.
