MC dot-net vs. Legacy PowerLanguage version

The dot-net version just came out and it is only $1000 versus the Easy Language compatible version for $1500.
The speed improvement is not that great however, with someone on the MC forums indicating 31 sec vs. 43 sec in a timing comparison.
Still, with the power of the dot-net platform, a lot can be done without having to resort to 3rd party DLLs, etc.
