The newer series don't have these problems, people move on. In general though I agree, compared to other manufacturers, some Samsung products have felt shoddy, have a low end feel to them.
 
That's totally fine with me, there are really lot of players anyway but something like for example me will select Radeon SSD for myself, I know it maybe fake brand but I do like them a lot. I had samsung HDD and really happy with anyway so to let you know.
