I would only add that keeping the Nutella in daily while going into deficit means you are not eating the right calories that will keep you full longer and prevent the binge eating. If you eat 1200 calories of Nutella, breads and cookies daily versus 1400 calories of proteins, healthy fats and fiberous carbs, you will lose weight initially on both due to the deficit, BUT the blood sugar spikes and lack of satiety on the first diet means you will not be able to stick with it long enough to lose weight. So eating more calories of the right foods in deficit is better than less calories of the wrong foods.
2 tsp of Nutella is 200 calories so if you have a normal serving on calorie deficit day you leave very little else for actual filling food. Not to mention no ones has just 2 tbsp of Nutella, that shit is like crack. So you down 300 calories of Nutella plus whatever you put it on and boom you are at 400 calories on a non-filling snack leaving you with 1000 or so the entire day.
I try to eat a balanced diet. I eat chicken one day, fish, red meat.....pork every other week....... I don't count calories but I eat until I am satisfied, not until I am 'stuffed'.
Perhaps I should though.
I have to agree with your comments about Nutella.
That stuff is addictive.
