Looking for a free .pdf of this book

This thread is hilarious...

If I can find something online, or copy it from a friend in person, I will. Specially if it's digital. And I can't care less about what the law says.

This is not about lacking respect of the authors or the artists... This is about screwing publishers, labels and producers, who historically abused and ripped off authors and artists. And obviously governments, who add a value tax, without adding any value at all.

The world is changing. Adapt, or stay behind and watch. And don't forget... Obey

Doubt that your subconscious would allow you to derive any durable value from pirated works.

‘you get what you pay for’ is culturally conditioned from birth.

It similar to those who want success yet despise success in others. It’s a catch 22.

For some reason in my head, this song seems appropriate at this time. Don't blame me, blame my brain. It and I are not getting along lately. :-)

Have you tried a Google search? ;) (Make sure to use an antivirus, because I know nothing about these sites.)

It's my understanding that downloading or distributing copyrighted material is illegal unless you have consent from the rights holder. Just about everyone does this to some extent though. You've violated copyright laws if you've ever posted a meme, gif, or quote on social media from something that's copyrighted.

Publishing or posting brief exerpts can fall under the "fair use" doctrine. When you distribute a significant amount of a copyrighted work, or the whole thing, that certainly isn't fair use. Fair use can involve scholarly citations, socially relevant quotes, Quoting a passage as proof of a point or concept, or even satire to which courts often grant a very wide leeway. Fair use definitely does not cover distributing a PDF of the complete work, or a torrent, or posting it on usenet. Doesn't matter whether it is free or not.

that’s the justification everyone uses to pirate copyrighted content. So do you then Send a thank you note and a check to the artist?

In my case, most artists are dead, but you are right. I wish this world was fair for all.

Very little is culturally conditioned for me, certainly extremely little when it comes to value defined by money, but I understand from business experience that the concept works wonderfully for most sales.
