Lol, I moved to Las Vegas for 6 months from end 2013 to early 2014 (while my house was getting renovated) and went to one of those traders meetup get together (in a back of some wine store or such). It was truly comical, at the time I was in early 40's and seemed like the junior in the room. However, it seemed like no one there had any skills of trading (with the exception of those buy and hold index traders). Because I was fairly new in the city, I didn't want to tell the group that I thought their chances were better at the casino and the results would be much quicker too.

I would seriously consider retiring (at least part-time) in Las Vegas. Many nice areas and very reasonable prices for living expenses, plus I play poker on the side which is a big bonus there.
I do not know if anyone will reply here but I would like to meet anyone with trading experience just to have a little chat if you have free time. I will be in Las Vegas for two more weeks and I am staying at westgateresorts.com hotel. Please tell me if you are interested as I am a day trader and would like to share some of my experience and maybe you will share some of yours. Also if there are here poker players I would like to play with you guys as at the moment I know no one here in Vegas.
