I attack Coulter for her use of religion in her comments and the bias on that basis.
What is Krugman being attacked for?
His use of common sense?

What "state" religion? There's none in this country. Worldwide, in case you haven't noticed, the only one recently in the news is Islam.Quote from ARogueTrader:
I support religious freedom, freedom for women, freedom for minorities.
I don't support a state religion, i.e. Coulter's version of Christianity.

Axe usually will make a good case for his side, but somehow loses it and reverts to ad hominem attacks. Why Axe? How do you go from thinking clearly to spewing frustration?

There were "right wing fundamentalist Christians" in the 1600's? Interesting.Quote from ARogueTrader:
Is the God of "In God We Trust" the Sun God of the Egyptians?
Is it Allah?
Is it Zeus?
Or is it the God of the born again right wing fundamentalist Christians?

To be fair, you better call him out on his ad hominems too.
I typically only use Ad Hominems against people who use
them first against me. ART fits the bill.
You can only blame me for lowering myself to his level

Axe,
Good answer. I retract what I said. You happen to be right about this. I knew it when I wrote it, but still, I guess I just expected more from you.
I would not say however that ART is devoid of reasoning out some good logical posts. The fact that you do not agree with his reasoning lessens his efforts in no way. Repetitive? Yes. But like the personal attacks, that too evens out (useless, but understandable.....we all have our levels of frustration...not to mention boredom...the great reason for logging onto ET during trading hours.).
I will say this about ART. And you too. You find a subject to disagree on, and you stay with it. You may go off on tangents, but there is a theme, a degree of correlation. An example of something other than this would be in this very thread, where Max401 was compelled to bring Kennedy into the discussion via VietnamObviously like Anne Coulter KNOWS what works best for everyone, Max401 KNOWS how Vietnam would have played out if he were alive another 9 months (for starters). This does have it's upside. Now we too can know these things, because Max and Anne tell us. (And Max gets to make Kennedy a personal issue for me, which is what his comment was really about ...too obviously).
Peace,
RS

Sorry Mav, can't respond to this thread any more. Because of posts like this one
Come on RS, that's a cop out. I went through the trouble of finding a list of facts of Bush's economic accomplishments, then when you realize that you don't have an edge to argue with, you decide to duck out of the conversation for BS reasons. I laid down some facts, please respond to them.
Leave Max out of this. He is a trump card you get to use whenever you don't like the way things are going you can always pull him out of your pocket as an excuse to not make an argument. Come on, you are better then that. So let's hear this sound reasoning.
